Summer Learning Journey

On your blog tell us the names of the two groups that interest you and then tell us at least two facts about each group.

•Aboriginals had pet dogs for many reasons.
• 33 percent of Aboriginal Australian children had to be taken away to other families.

• Estimated 25,000 Ainu people still live there now.
• This northern island of Japan  is home to the indigenous Ainu people.

  1. Hi Pippa,

Hope you are having a good Friday so far!

It is great to see you have shared two facts for your two chosen groups, Australian Aboriginal and Ainu people. It could have been a good idea to make headings for these two groups so it was easier to tell what two groups you chose, but I figured it out from what you shared :)

I am interested to know a bit more about some of these facts. What were some of the reasons that the Aboriginals had pet dogs? Where do the 25,000 Ainu people live?

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    Leisha
    :)
