Te Tiriti O Waitangi

Treaty of Waitangi

This is part of my Treaty of Waitangi activity. You had to explain a bit about what the Treaty of Waitangi is and what it means.

Waitangi Day 2021

This year I learnt about the Treaty of Waitangi

The Maori and the English had a treaty to see who would get the land but some of the Maori chiefs didn't want to sign it and others didn't even see it. Some of the translating went wrong and so the words in Maori weren't correct.
