Hi Pippa, Wow, what a very insightful poem. You really showed how exhausting it was to fight all day and night. My favourite part, ‘With hope in my head I am never alone - anything we do together, we can win’ is quite powerful and shows the mental strength needed to survive another day. Also the poppy, standing so proud and tall was a perfect match for this too. Brilliant work! From Mrs J
Pippa, I agree with Mrs J. This is a wonderfully thoughtful poem. Many people across the world are saying that Covid-19 is like a war, but we are fortunate in many ways because we can fight it by staying in our own homes. That's quite different to going out into the battlefields. I love the poppies, too! Keep on learning@home!
Hi Pippa, I love your poem. It is very meanigful and full of thought. I can imagine myself being a solider, trying to live until the next day. The poppies are very cool and I love how one is standing above the others alone. I can't wait to see more of your amazing work. Bye
