This year I learnt about the Treaty of Waitangi
The Maori and the English had a treaty to see who would get the land but some of the Maori chiefs didn't want to sign it and others didn't even see it. Some of the translating went wrong and so the words in Maori weren't correct.
Well done Pippa! You certainly have been honest about your prior knowledge on the Treaty of Waitangi. It sounds like you have been learning lots over the last few weeks! Miharo (awesome)!
